If you’ve ever had a reason to pick up the phone, call your folks and organise a long overdue family night out; nows your chance - because Barnsey’s back on the road baby. Jimmy Barnes has today announced his biggest headlining tour of this century – ‘Shutting Down Your Town’.
The thirteen date tour takes Barnsey right around Australia, including a bunch of regional cities, so here’s your chance to see the iconic working class man live in action. But that’s not all to get you hyped. The supporting slot for Barnsey will be shared duties, with Jet and Eskimo Joe joining for half the tour each.
The tour is in celebration of Barnsey’s upcoming release, ’My Criminal Record’, which is set to drop Friday, 31 May - so roll down your car windows and get ready to belt some rock out. It’s his first release in ten years, and boy has your dad got something to look forward to.
“It’s been ten years since I made an original rock record and I can’t wait to get out there and play these songs, along with all the old favourites, to a live audience. It’s going to be great!”, says Barnsey.
Tickets go on sale Friday 31 May (9am local time) to coincide with the album release, but there are a few pre-sale options available.
